Image result for kannawidan      This next month January 29 to February 5 we celebrate the Kannawidan Festival. Kannawidan is tradition or heritage in Ilocano. Now on its third year, the festival is a celebration of the rich cultural heritage of the province, as well as a tribute to its outstanding citizens. A feast of rich heritage and culture of heavenly and alluring sites; with endearing and worth knowing historical significance Ylocos festival of the province of Ilocos Sur formally opened on January 29 at the Quirino Stadium in Bantay, Ilocos Sur, until February 13 at Candon City. The festivity features the heritage culture of the province which dates back two centuries ago. Government Ryan Luis V. Singson said the street dancing and showdown of the product of the 22 towns of the province marked the festivities. This is the first time the Ilocos Sur held Street Dancing as one of the highlights of the activities. Kannawidan is an Ilocano term meaning feast of rich heritage and culture. It marks the 198th foundation of Ilocos Sur, which separated the province from Ilocos Norte by a Royal Decree on February 2, 1818. “Tradition becomes our security, and when the mind is secure it is in decay.

     The festival is also a show of the province’s trade and agriculture products and is a livelihood training ground for women and students through the Department of Trade and Industry and Department of Agriculture. In the festival the Provincial Government recognizes outstanding performances of schools, local government units in barangays, towns and cities for the Siglat (outstanding school) Eskwela Awards, Siglat LGU Awards, Siglat Sangguniang, and the most prestigious award given yearly, the Father Jose Burgos Awards.

     The old and the new in Ilocano culture are both featured in this year's Kannawidan Ylocos Festival the festival of Ilocos Sur that celebrates its being a separate province and its being a treasure chest of traditions and culture.

END of my journey There are a lot of things that i discover and learned this 4th Quarter just like how to edit pictures using Adobe Photoshop and others. These lessons are truly amazing. I can use this lessons in the future. Editing is quite fun and amazing, it may hard to edit but the outcome of your project will truly amaze you. In our last quarter, I encountered some problems that gives me disadvantages to myself. One of the major problem that I encountered is some of the lessons are not that understandable which confuses me a lot. This is now the last quarter for my school year 2019-2020. there are a lot of amazing things that i discovered in the span of 4 quarters only.
